This inner-city housing complex consists of three individual buildings linked by a common underground parking garage. It has been designed as a most energy efficient “Passive Plus” building which necessitated a close collaboration of architects and engineers to achieve, for example, thin slabs and an efficient pattern of columns. From the structural engineering point of view the energy concept was further refined by the flexible integration of the ventilation ducts.
