Julian Lienhard and Patrick Teuffel have written the following chapter : “Circular Structures – Resource-Conserving Structural Design in New and Existing Buildings”. It has just been published by Ernst & Sohn in the yearbook ‘Ingenieurbaukunst 2022’.

29.07.2020 The X-Dax at Teuffel Engineering Consultants – New Work: trust in employees versus time control!

In January 2020, Patrick Teuffel implemented the X-Day internally and reacted constructively to the cultural change of workplaces with a new work time model.
Each employee is given a certain number of hours per month that can be used freely. How the X-Day exactly looks like is to be seen in the following online conversation X-Day between Martin Prösler from Prösler Kommunikationand Prof. Dr.-Ing Patrick Teuffel.

21.04.2020 Competitionline Ranking 2019/2020

in 19th place in the category structural engineer among 33,000 participating planning offices in Germany.
The Competitionline Ranking 2019/2020 is the only architect ranking in German-speaking countries, that is based exclusively on competition results. Once a year, all the results from Germany and abroad published on has been evaluated (as of 2018: more than 2000 results) and the ranking of the most successful offices in the competition is drawn up from this.

10.08.2018 5th Symposium TEXTILE-ARCHITEKTUR, Test tower thyssenkrupp, Rottweil

The 5th symposium TEXTILE-ARCHITEKTUR für architects and engineers will take place on Monday, 10th September 2018 from 9am until 5.30pm in the thyssenkrupp test tower in Rottweil/ Germany, which is probably the most spectacular place for textile structures – a tower with a height of 260m and 17.000m2 large textile envelope.

The symposium will provide information from theory as well as from practice. Speaker and specialist in textiles, such as Prof. Dr.-Ing. Patrick Teuffel, Bernhard Hahner, winner of the steel innovation award 2018 as well as the project leader of the test tower from Werner Sobek Stuttgart will present.

27. & 28.09.2017 Lectures about the application of bio-based composite materials in the built environment

On Wednesday 27th September 2017 Patrick Teuffel will lecture at the IASS-Symposium “INTERFACES: ARCHITECTURE . ENGINEERING . SCIENCE” at HCU in Hamburg and then on 28th September within the Joint Market and Technology Study “New Potentials for Composite Technologies in Buildings & Infrastructure” at RWTH Aachen about the application of bio-based composite materials in the built environment.
