The client brief was an almost impossible challenge to the engineers: In the centre of Abu Dhabi a temporary exhibition and information building should be conceived in such a way that it can be taken down several times and then rebuilt in different locations. The suitable solution was a skeletal steel construction with composite steel and concrete decking. TEUFFEL ENGINEERING CONSULTANTS were responsible for the entire structural design, including detail design. All design phases were carried out from Germany and site visits were carried out to check progress and quality on site.
