On 7th/ 8th March 2019 the Deutsche Bautechnik-Tag 2019 will take place in Stuttgart and Patrick Teuffel will talk about the challenges during the design and realisation of the project “Neues Prora” on Rügen. The full program can be found here (in German only).

Patrick Teuffel will give a lecture about “Resource-efficient structural design” at the ARCHITECT@WORK trade fair in Stuttgart on 05.12.2018.

The 5th symposium TEXTILE-ARCHITEKTUR für architects and engineers will take place on Monday, 10th September 2018 from 9am until 5.30pm in the thyssenkrupp test tower in Rottweil/ Germany, which is probably the most spectacular place for textile structures – a tower with a height of 260m and 17.000m2 large textile envelope.

The symposium will provide information from theory as well as from practice. Speaker and specialist in textiles, such as Prof. Dr.-Ing. Patrick Teuffel, Bernhard Hahner, winner of the steel innovation award 2018 as well as the project leader of the test tower from Werner Sobek Stuttgart will present.

On 15.08.2018 at Massachusetts Institute of Technology the IASS 2018 conference “Creativity in Structural Design” will start and on 17.07.2018 Patrick Teuffel will give a lecture about “Resource-efficient structural design”.

In collaboration with one fine day we won the 1st prize for the competition “Conversion and extension of Schüco-Showroom into a welcome centre in Bielefeld”

Prof. Dr.-Ing. Patrick Teuffel has been appointed as member of the DGNB Innovation advisory board, which explores future topics in the area of sustainability in the built environment.

On Wednesday 27th September 2017 Patrick Teuffel will lecture at the IASS-Symposium “INTERFACES: ARCHITECTURE . ENGINEERING . SCIENCE” at HCU in Hamburg and then on 28th September within the Joint Market and Technology Study “New Potentials for Composite Technologies in Buildings & Infrastructure” at RWTH Aachen about the application of bio-based composite materials in the built environment.
