\nback to the Fifties. The three storey building has an agora in its centre. The special structural challenge was the combination of the first floor cantilevers on three sides and extensively spanning beams varying from 11 up to 15 meters. On the ground floor a regular grid of walls and columns takes the loads. The interconnection of the old and the new building required a securing of existing structures during construction.<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
